Fall is officially here and these morning temperatures are a testament to that. Yes, as surely as time goes by the temps are going to go from cool to cold but, I’m choosing to enjoy life one day at a time. All I have to do is remember the record-breaking heat of this past summer and that stops me from complaining. #BeContent

**On Saturday, September 19th the “Pearls of Wisdom Senior Women” hosted a Senior Day Event for those who are 60 yrs. & older. The program was composed of: a song, scripture, prayer, presenters, door prizes and dinner. The four main topics that were discussed was: Medical Insights, Making a Simple Will, Recognizing Scams & Support Programs Available to Seniors. In addition, a Question and Answer segment was a part of each presentation. This event was both needed and delightful. Many thanks are extended to all who worked to make this program a success. I certainly feel more informed about all topics that were presented. Many thanks to all again!

Reflections:
*On Relationships: I honestly can not say enough about the importance of “Relationships” in our lives. Personally as I grow older I am able to appreciate the span of relationships that exist in my life. Some are long standing relationships, some are newly formed and all have proven to be beneficial for my well being. When life gets complicated with sickness, bills, transportation, death, etc. it’s good to have a friend to help carry your burden. I hope that each of you has a friend (s) that you can lean on when life gets complicated. *Peace to you all, GPigott*
