October has indeed arrived! We’ve been able to enjoy some cooler morning and nighttime temperatures. I am excited about completing my display of Autumn decorations, on my front porch and mailbox. Having the opportunity to enjoy some of the simple things in life brings me “Joy”. I hope they bring “joy” to others who pass by and see them.

Reflections:
On Visiting the Sick: Those of us that have “a reasonable portion of health and strength" should visit the sick because they need us. They need to see our smiles, feel our hugs, listen to our voices and express themselves as well. Our presence in their lives comforts and heals. I was recently afforded the opportunity to sit with a relative that is recovering from surgery. I witnessed all of the aforementioned results of my visiting the sick and I am a better person because of them. Who do you need to visit today? ***GPigott
