The Fall weather finally showed up! It’s soup and gumbo season for many, with these chilly temperatures we’ve been having. Some of us (like me) have already begun to dress in layers and heat our homes. Though our reactions to these cooler temperatures may differ, I hope that we all can identify a reason (s) to be “Thankful”. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

*”The Lighthouse” Worship Service was held on Sunday, Nov. 17th @ 8:30 am Rev. Aniece Moses preached from: Mark 13:5-6 and her sermon was entitled “Jesus, Our Firm Foundation”. Afterwards, Thanksgiving dinner was served to all in attendance.
Pilgrim Rest MBC:
*On Sunday November 17th # 11:30 am, Rev. Javonte W. Jimcoily preached from Mark 14: 3-9 emphasizing that “Serving the Lord Will Pay Off Afterwhile”. ***Worship Service times are the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month @ 11:30am. Rev. Javonte W. Jimcoily is the newly installed Pastor of Pilgrim Rest.
