It is indeed “beginning to look alot like Christmas” in our communities. Leading the way for these holiday events is the Varnado Christmas Parade which is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7th at 1pm.

Wesley Ray UMC:
*Youth Sunday Worship was held on Nov. 24th @ 11am. Rev. Anice Moses’ sermon was entitled: Sometimes It’s Your Own People. (John 18:33-35).
*The church will have smoked Chicken dinners available. You may dine in or pick up your meal for a donation of $12, between the hours of 11am-2pm. This annual fundraising event is on Saturday, Dec. 7th.
Sunlight MBC:
*On Sunday, Nov. 2th @ 8am, Rev. Galloway’s sermon was about: “A Tour Through Hell”, from the book of Revelation 20th chapter.
Pilgrim Rest MBC:
*Thanksgiving Day Worship was held @ 10am. Pastor Jimcoily preached from the Gospel according to Luke 17:11-19. His sermon was entitled: A Lonely Thanksgiving. After feasting on God’s Word, all that were present were invited to feast on a blessed Thanksgiving meal. Amen.

Reflections:
*The Washington Parish STEM/Innovative Learning Center and Denise Evans-Robinson held a Chromebook Giveaway for K-12 students. This event was held on Monday, November 25th from 1-4pm at the Pride & Hope Ministry Activity Center, in Angie LA. This event was very well attended and very much needed. Many thanks to all who made this event possible.
