I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekend. We celebrated my sweet mama’s birthday as much as possible, going to church, out to eat, a few gifts, and cards here and there. I can’t forget the yummy Chantilly Cake, too! I hope you had a fabulous birthday, mama! You make it easy to celebrate you!
My family and I have been enjoying watching the Para Olympics. I am incredibly impressed with their talent and ability! I was very intrigued with the swimming and long jump. All I can say is I can’t accomplish a quarter of what they have.

Enon Elementary School had some celebrations going on for various reasons! We are so proud of our Eagles!
Enon Library will have Storytime at the Library September 19th at 3:15 pm. There will be a Scrabble game on September 27th there as well. I hear the Scrabble game was quite entertaining this past week. Lots of our students have been able to visit the library and they are checking out books. (and our library has an amazing program with various stories.) Please make sure your child has a library card so they can check out books and videos, etc. Anne Rayburn was the winner of the back-to-school drawing at the library.
I am so thankful for the rain we have been getting. Hopefully we will get just the right amount and not too much! Have a wonderful week. Remember to keep an eye out for buses and students getting on and off the buses. Please slow down in school zones and put the phone away. I am so thankful for Sheriff Smith having the deputies out in the mornings making sure that everyone is safe. Until next time……..
