Beginning today (August 7th) the 2024/25 school year for Washington Parish School System are in session for many students.
School Buses
Please pay close attention to those Big Yellow Buses that will begin rolling through every community. Drivers in Louisiana must stop at least 30 feet from a bus that is loading and unloading children.

Use cornmeal wherever you see ants. Sprinkle cornmeal on ant piles or anywhere near ants. When ants eat cornmeal or take it home they can't digest it and in time they will die.
