Last week while sitting on a bench, in front of the Bogalusa Library, I observed the ROTC educator at Bogalusa High School working with some students/cadets.
It was apparent to me that cooperative learning/teamwork was a familiar occurrence with this group because of the way they conducted themselves. For example, several students carried lumber/boards and a ladder to a specific site, while a few others retrieved a drill (s) without any disagreements occuring.
It was quite gratifying for me to see students and educators coming together to complete a project, during their week off from school. In fact, I want to express my appreciation for all educators across the parish that worked with students to enrich their learning and social well being, on their week off from school. Thank You Educators!
