•Mary’s Chapel UMC:
*The United Methodist Women’s Annual Day was held on Sunday, March 20th. This uplifting program included the songs: Lord You Brought Me from a Mighty Lord Way (Sis. Annie Mae Robinson) & Hold To God’s Unchanging Hand (Rev. Louis Smith), as well as others. The guest speaker was Sis. Barbara Smith and she spoke on the theme: Being Knitted Together in Love (Ephesians 4:16). She reminded those in attendance that Love is the main force that produces Unity and where there is Unity there is Strength. #GodIsLoveGodIsGood
•Wesley Ray UMC:
*The Annual “66 Books of the Bible/Pack the Pews” program is scheduled for Sunday, March 27th during the 11a.m. Worship service.

•Varnado High School VHS:
* Yasmine Haynes was the winner of the “FATS” acronym competition sponsored by Rachel Weary, MSN and the Weary family in honor/memory of her father; Mr. Johnny "FATS" Weary (deceased) . Ms. Weary was the guest speaker for the 2022 Black History program and is a VHS graduate.
Yasmine's winning acronym was: “Follow A Trusting Soldier". Yasmine was presented with a check for $200 from the Weary family which she decided to donate $50 to the NTHS Kidney Awareness fundraiser. Congratulations Yasmine!
*A total of 35 students from VHS participated in the Southeast Louisiana District Literary Rally this month, at Southeastern Louisiana University. The following students participated: Ashton Smith, Erica Wiggins, Jaleena Peters, Hannah Smith, Cheyenn Touchstone, Lauryn Smith, Jamaya Dalcour, Tobias Odom, Gabrielle Wiggins, Yasmine Haynes, Mclean Burns, Amber Fairley, Deshundra McGowan, Crystal Thompson, Bryson Harris, Chad Blackwell, Sarah Knight, Emily Hartzog, Collin Lozier, Michael Knight, Isaiah McNeese, Jamaurion Magee, Camry Dabon, DeAndria Toler, Kinlee Burge, Zachary Parfait, Sandra Odom, Jamaya Bell, Ladaisihas McGowan, Myeasha Peters, Elicia Peters, Jayla Peters, Dariana Greely, and Jacob Wascom.
