Hello Everyone! My husband and I were recently invited to our great-niece’s “Peppa Pig” themed Birthday Party. The weather was perfect for an outdoor event such as this. There was an abundance of food and children playing, as we were greeted with sunshine and light breezes. One of the highlights of the party was a coloring contest. There were categories for children and adults alike. Needless to say, my husband and I submitted entries in the adult category for fun. My picture won. I inserted the message “I am beautiful” in my entry to express that everyone, anyone is valuable and should love themselves and others, regardless of how they look. As a result of this activity, I plan to purchase a coloring book. Thanks for the rewarding experience niece!

*Youth Worship Service was held on Sunday, April 27th @ 11am. Pastor Terrence August’s sermon was entitled: When Jesus Is In The House (John 29 19-31). Pastor August shared that “When Jesus Is In The House” He brings peace, proof and power into our lives. Also, all things will work together for good if we just hold on, “When Jesus Is In The House”. Invite Jesus into your house today. Amen.
*The United Men’s Fellowship Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 29th beginning at 8am at Stuart’s. The host for April is Bro. Frank Harry.

*On Friday, May 6th dinners will be available for purchase ($10) from 10:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. The proceeds are to benefit the “Brenda Williams Memorial”. The meals consist of: jambalaya, green beans, corn, roll & cake.
