The Angie Little League Football was practicing in the cool of the evening last week at the Pride and Hope Ministry Activity Center, in Angie. There was a significant number of boys, men and vehicles visible from my viewpoint. Some have said where have the children in the church gone? One could respond that they are at football practice where men are teaching them the qualities in Romans 5:3-4. If we adults would go to where the children are and support them as they are developing into good citizens then perhaps more children would follow our example of attending worship service at the church. Just something to think about.

Reflections:
*September 24th marked an important milestone in my life this year because it was the 1st year that I have recognized both my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary, without him. You see, my husband, Irvin Nelson Pigott Sr., passed away last year. We were Blessed with over 40 years of marriage and I Thank God for it. My daughter, granddaughter and I did a “Balloon Release” and tossed flower petals into the water at the beach, to commemorate Irvin’s life. Many of you (perhaps more than I know) can identify with my expressions of Love for my loved one. I pray that all who are working through grief will be comforted by God’s Word, Family, Friends and Pleasant Memories, as you continue to move forward in your lives. #StayStrong
