Hello there hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day, because every day is Thanksgiving, just by being alive! Serenity Village has been on the map lately here in Franklinton. The landlord is letting people know we are here, trying to be a family of friendly people, all 32 apartments.
On Halloween evening she invited the community to come bring their little ones out, and let me tell you it was awesome! I don't care much for the holiday myself, but that evening we enjoyed the children and parents. They were so cute in their costumes and everyone gave out candy to them. We had a ball laughing at them all. They were so polite and their families were enjoying themselves as well. I miss taking the pictures on that day, but they were a treat, no trick at all.
The landlord, Mrs. Becky had her crew put the time in and help her. They did a great job on Monday, November 1st, 2022. They had a Thanksgiving dinner for the Serenity Village family. There was plenty of real food to chow down, other friends and relatives were invited to come and enjoy themselves. The food that was presented was dressing, chicken pie, English peas, ham, fried chicken, potato salad, cakes, pies, and other sorts of meats. Everyone had such a great time.
Bethel Church had a three night revival. I heard how good it went. It was said all of the preachers blew the roof off; they did a wonderful job trying to win a soul, all souls. I thank God, for all of the extra people who go out of their way to help feed on Thanksgiving Day, to help make someone feel special, and have a full stomach. There are too many who take their time out on this holiday to make sure that other people are fed. I could name some names but I know I will miss somebody, you know who you are. I thank God for all that is so sweet! That's the way you do it, when you bless others it makes you feel so good inside.
A special prayer list to Daniels family, Harts family, myself (Brenda Magee), Serenity Village family, all 1975 classmates, Bessie B. Bickham, all churches, schools, hospitals, and homes.
