My kids survived another school year and math did not take us down! I am so glad to be able to spend the summer with my husband, girls, family, and friends to make memories that will last a lifetime. We are looking forward to spending time together cleaning, watching movies, traveling, reading, swimming, hiking, and whatever else we can get in to.
Gracie was asked to participate in an informational/promotional video for Louisiana 4-H last week at LSU. It was a neat experience for her and something cool to put on her college application. She was mic’d up and asked a variety of questions on camera. She hopes that it will spark an interest for future 4-Hers and that they will realize that 4-H isn’t just about animals. This club is about service, leadership, and how to help our community. 4-H has given so many opportunities to my daughters locally and statewide. The most important is the knowledge provided and lasting friendships that have been built. Afterwards, we were able to explore the LSU campus and visit with others.
Enon Elementary School had a great week of awards ceremonies. Our students are so very bright, each in their own way, and very talented. Good luck to our 6th graders who will be going to Franklinton Jr. High School next year. We hope you all have a great summer full of fun and relaxation.
The Enon Library has new books to select from. They are getting ready for “Oceans of Possibilities” for the Summer Reading Program. I am excited to see the variety of activities/shows they have planned for kids and adults as well.
Enon Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 13-17 from 8:30-11:30 am. Big Fish Bay is going to be an epic time learning about God. If you would like to volunteer or have your child join the group, feel free to message or call the church. If you have a high school or college graduate this year, please let Mrs. Diana or Brother Chris know as soon as possible.
Welcome to the world Rhett Allen Brown, son of Jared and Candace Brown and brother to Brooklyn, Brynley, Riley, and Jaxton.
Zona Summer Kick Off starts May 25th for the Youth. They will meet from 5-7 pm. Youth Bible study will start June 5th at 6 pm. Camp Fuego is June 27-July 1. I know the Youth are beyond excited about being able to go back to Fuego this summer and learn more about God.
Condolences to those who have lost loved ones this past week.

Monday May 30th is Memorial Day. Let’s remember the fallen and those who served and have passed on. I am forever grateful for the sacrifices they made on our behalf.
I hope you all have a great week. If you have any exciting news or activities happening just let me know. I would love to share your information for you. Until next week….
