What a whirlwind of a week it has been! The girls went to their Personality Ball at Franklinton High School Saturday Night and had a wonderful time dancing the night away. Gracie was voted Friendliest by her peers. That was a perfect personality quality for her because that baby has visited with everyone since she could talk! Each and every student there looked so handsome and beautiful! Thank you to all who helped put on a fabulous dance.
Speaking of dances, Friday night Enon Elementary had their Winter Wonderland Mother/Son, Daddy/Daughter Dance. The kids looked amazing! Crowned King was Michael Melancon, Prince Levi Crawford, and Duke Daelin Freeman. Crowned Queen was Arabella Gay, Princess Bryer Foraker, and Duchess Ava Butts. Thank you for all who participated and helped with this dance. (Yes, even I participated in a couple of line dances! haha)
Enon Baptist Church will have PJ’s and Pop-tarts at Sunday School January 29th, after Sunday School the children will stay downstairs and have a worship lesson. February 18th will be Parents Night Out, please let Mrs. Alice know if you will be participating.
COMING FEBRUARY 25TH WILL BE OUR WILD GAME COOKOFF!!! Last year was GREAT! I am one of those odd folks who really isn’t a fan of eating deer, rabbit, squirrel, etc (yes, I have eaten it just not a fan) BUT taste testing the various dishes last year may have helped change my mind on some accounts. I was shocked at all of the different meats that were cooked and how yummy they were.
