You never know what kind of weather we will have in Louisiana! We are getting Gracie moved in at Southeastern Louisiana University and of course there is a potential for severe cold, may be flurries, may not be, maybe icy this week!
Annalise just got back from Lafayette. She was at the Louisiana State Beta Convention with Franklinton High School. They did a great job all the way around and Group Talent placed 3rd and will be headed to Savannah, GA in June for Beta Nationals. I have to admit, I am really excited after going to Beta Nationals last summer as well. (that will make two years in a row!)
Enon Elementary School had their Daddy/Daughter, Mother/Son Winter Wonderland Ball this past weekend. Everyone looks so beautiful and handsome. I think a great time was had by all.
If your child is in the 6th grade and would like to try out for a support group at Franklinton Junior High School, there will be a mandatory meeting for parents/guardians on January 18th at 6 pm. This will be held at the Junior High.
Mardi Gras break will be February 12th through 16th.
If you have a child who will be 4 years old on or before September 30th, 2024, you can register them for Pre-K at Enon on April 12th from 9 am to 2 pm.
The Enon Library After School Movie is January 18th, Snow Mouse, and January 25th, Snow Days. Check their Facebook page for more information and activities. Our Enon Eagles have been enjoying visiting the library as often as possible and learning so much!
Enon Baptist Church is taking donations for Operation Christmas Child and needs toothbrushes, purse size Kleenex, wash cloths, combs, soap, socks, and shipping charges.
Registration for our Women’s Retreat will be open to church members January 26th to 28th and will be open to the public January 29th to February 4th. If you need any information you can check with Sarah Sanson. This is an exciting event for us!
