Enon Baptist Church had a Love Luncheon for Seniors this past Sunday. The Children in Action served a variety of soups, salads, and breadsticks, along with a yummy dessert. I know everyone enjoyed the food and fellowship and had a great time. Thank you to Mrs. Alice and the Children in Action for the amazing day!
EBC will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. We are needing shipping charges, toothbrushes, purse size Kleenex, wash cloths, combs, soap, and socks. The Washington Parish Food Bank needs canned veggies, grits, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter dried beans, juices, and boxed rice sides. The 2ndAnnual Youth Lock In will be February 9th from 7 pm to 7 am. If you would like to chaperone, provide snacks, or help in any way please contact Mrs. Miranda. I hate I will miss out on it, but I know it will be a great time of fun, food, and fellowship. I am sure there will be little sleep. (haha)
The Youth Veggie Sale is on! If you would like to purchase veggies and fruits from the Youth just let us know and will get you in touch with the correct people! The Blessing of Food will be February 17th. February 10thwill be Parent’s Night Out. It will be from 5 pm to 10 pm at the church with lots of fun to be had. The Wild Game Cookoff and Youth Bake Sale will be February 24th. I know you all have some great recipes and want to show your talents off!

Enon Elementary School will be having Spring Pictures February 8th. Please make sure to get your Yearbook Order Forms in by February 23rd. Yearbooks are $25. We had so many Young Author’s Winners. I will try to get all the names and how they placed for next week. Congrats to each of our Eagles! The Enon Library will be having the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote movies after school on Thursdays this month.
I am looking forward to meeting the Clydesdales at the Washington Parish Fairgrounds this Wednesday from 4 pm to 6 pm. They are so majestic, and I just love them.
