Franklinton High School’s Beta Club has been busy this month. Last week they had the Bloomer Bowl which was absolutely hilarious and this week their Krispy Kreme Donut fundraiser will be delivered. (If you ordered any from Annalise I will be getting them to you.)
In the Bloomer Bowl, the Senior girls beat the Junior girls and Queen of the Homecoming Court was Chad Devalle. They all did a great job pumping up the crowd and just having fun. There were also Senior Demon Girls and Junior Demon Girls. (Annalise was the letter N for the Junior Girls) A great time was had by all even when it started to rain and turned chilly.
The Youth of Enon Baptist Church will be doing a Nothing Bundt Cake Fundraiser, details will be coming soon.
EBC had a wonderful Palm Sunday with dinner on the grounds and an Easter egg hunt for kids.
On Mondays and Thursdays come exercise and fellowship at 5:30 pm. We will have a Good Friday worship service at 6 pm on March 29th. That morning we will meet up in the Dirt Cheap parking lot for the Carry the Cross walk to the fairgrounds, it will end with a time of worship and the Lord’s Supper.
Easter Sunday we will have 7 am Sunrise Service (weather permitting), 9:30 am Sunday School, and 10:45 am Morning Worship. We will observe the Lord’s Supper during the 10:45 service.
Washington Parish Schools will be out for Spring Break from March 29th to April 5th. We hope you all have a wonderful break. I hope you have a fun and safe time with whatever you have planned.
Don’t forget LEAP testing is right around the corner. Please make sure your students are at school on time each day, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a protein-filled breakfast.
The Enon Library has been reading the Little Red Riding Hood to different classes from EES. That is one of my favorite stories.
