What a wonderful Resurrection weekend it has been! We had a wonderful time celebrating our Risen Savior at Enon Baptist Church. There was a great turn out for Sunrise Service, and I enjoyed all of the uplifting songs during worship. (Everyone did a wonderful job on the specials that were sung.) The Lord’s Supper was also observed at the end of the service.
Our Easter looked a little different this year, but we are grateful to have been able to be with Mike, for him to be healthy, and to HUG him! We are forever grateful for all of the love, support, and kindness shown to us in the last year and can’t thank all of you enough for the prayers as well.
The Men’s Retreat for Enon Baptist Church will be April 4-7. Please let them know ASAP if you would like to attend. April 17th the ladies will begin a new Bible Study: Seasons of a Woman’s Life by Lois Evans. The books are $12 each. We are making our way toward our goal of $1,200 for the Annie Armstrong Offering. Mondays and Thursdays we are having exercise and fellowship at 5:30 pm. (all levels of expertise are welcome) We will be having a VBS Showcase for workers on April 12th and April 13th.

Enon Elementary March Students of the Month had Eggs for Eagles this past week. We are so proud of our students and all of their hard work. Don’t forget LEAP testing is right around the corner. Please make sure your students are at school on time each day, get a good night’s sleep, and eat a protein-filled breakfast. We know our students will do their best and master this test!
Congratulations to Nicole Manning for winning the Book Worm count at the Enon Library. Congratulations to Rosalie Woerner for winning the giant chocolate Easter Bunny.
It is hard to believe that the school year is winding down and y’all summer is coming!!!
If you have any birthdays, birth announcements, reunions, vacations, or weddings you would like to share or announce, please let me know. I would be happy to share for you. I know several will be traveling to Tennessee soon, and as well you know that is one of my favorite places. I hope you all have a wonderful week. I am hoping it is filled with rest, organization, cleaning, and FUN for my family. Spend time together, take those pictures, and give those hugs. Until next time….
