I know that no one is immune from Covid. It doesn’t care about age, size, religion, wealth, or anything else, it just is there. For some people it is terrible, and others barely know they have it.
I was able to go over a year and a half without getting it. I don’t know what I did any different for that to happen, I just wore a mask, sanitized, took Zinc, Vitamin C, and Vitamin D.
Last week I tested positive and wasn’t quite sure how to feel besides crummy. I am doing much better now, just working on the not being so tired aspect. Thank you for all who reached out to us, dropped off stuff, and said prayers. I am grateful and thankful to live in a community that helps take care of each other.
The Enon Library has hotspots you can check out for internet. I had no idea that was a thing, and I am very impressed that they have that option. Stop by and check out their new books and visit for a minute.
Enon Baptist Church will have Blessing of Food August 21st. The Youth Retreat is also on August 21st, it has been scaled back to only one day. August 29th will be Fifth Sunday Night Sing at 6 pm. Children in Action and Ladies’ Bible Study begins August 18th.
Happy birthday to Doris Dutruch, Joana Perilloux, and our awesome new asset at Enon Elementary, Valerie Penny. Happy anniversary to Kenzie and Coleman Knight.
I know there are many excited kids (and parents) who are thankful to be back in school. I hope you all had a great first full week back in the classroom. Please check out the school’s Facebook page for carline procedure, and other happenings through out the week. Have a great week.
