Enon Baptist Church has some amazing cooks! We already knew that, but the Chili Cookoff for our Fall Fest sealed the deal! There were 10 different chilis and Jake Blackwell was the overall winner. We were definitely happy to be tasters. Trunk-R-Treat was a big success as well, thank you to all who participated. We are in need of shipping costs for Operation Christmas Child, if you would like to donate just drop it off at the church. Donations for the Washington Parish Food Bank are still being accepted. (canned vegetables, dried beans, juices, boxed rice sides, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, and grits) Happy birthday to Moni Jones, Betty Gilly, Bonnie Jones, and my fabulous aunt Charlotte Ginn. November 21st will be our Thanksgiving Supper at 6 pm.
Enon Elementary School will have a Veteran’s Day Social on November 11, 2021 at 2 pm. (notes were sent home with students) Our Beta Club had Beta Induction last week. We are so proud of our students and how hard they work. We would also like to WELCOME our newest Eagle Eaglet, Mrs. Alisha Thomas, one of our amazing 3rd grade teachers had her sweet baby girl this past week. Congrats to you and your family! Pre-K will be taking a field trip to the Hammond Children’s Museum this week. Progress Reports go home November 18th. Special Olympics is also November 18th.
