Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Sunday morning service began with a solo from our pastor’s wife, Sis. Suzonne Garcia singing “ I Wouldn’t Take Nothing For My Journey Now”. She was followed by the Sr. Hands Praise signing to “You Paid It All”. Pastor Randall Garcia’s message was titled “Walking The Race”, with the focus Bible verse from Psalms 1:1 (KJV).
Sister Suzonne Garcia’s birthday was last Sunday. We all sang happy birthday to her during the service. It was also announced that she will be honored with a birthday celebration this Saturday, October 30th at 12:30 PM.
With it being pastor appreciation month, we all brought a card or a gift for Pastor Garcia to show him our appreciation. Our church is very thankful for our pastor and Sis. Suzonne.
Before the close of the service, we had a Missions Cake Auction to support Crystal Crouch. Crystal will be going on a mission trip this summer. Two homemade cakes were donated by Sis Shelia Waites. The auction was quite successful. Blessings to those who contributed.
May you all have a safe and Happy Halloween! -- Holly
