Mt. Hermon School
MHS would like to salute an amazing substitute teacher, Mrs. Nell Smith! She is an active part of the Mt. Hermon community and always supports the Yellowjackets. The kindness that she shares with the students and staff is amazing, and she is greatly appreciated. Mrs. Nell is also The Era-Leader community columnist for Mt. Pisgah.
If you are interested in substituting at MHS and have a rewarding day like Mrs. Nell, please call the school office at 985-877-4642.
Good luck to the MHS Jr. High Football Team as they begin their season.
MHS Basketball Teams are now selling 30 and 55 gallon sized trash bag rolls for only $12. To help support the teams, see any player to order by September 10th. You may also call the school office.

The Back to School Park Day was this past Saturday at Bogue Chitto State Park. They enjoyed a wildlife presentation by Mrs. Denise, the park ranger, eating hotdogs, chips and cupcakes. Also, some hiking was on the agenda, as well as cooling off at the splash pad. It was a great day!
They are now looking forward to their Revival, Sept. 11th-14th, with Bro. Melvin Mordecai.

The Young At Heart group met last Thursday at Golden Corral in McComb, MS. They all enjoyed the delicious food and fellowship.
