Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
This past Sunday, the scripture reading was read by Deacon of the Week, Mr. Tommy Hickman. Special music, “Touch of the Master’s Hand”, was beautifully sung by Mr. Richard Holmes. The message was delivered by Bro. Leroy McElveen, as Bro. Ray is out of town. I was a visitor at this service, along with my son Raylan, my parents Earl and Rachel Gill, and Cousin Donna after being invited by Uncle Sam Schilling. Uncle Sam also had two of his children there, Brenda Wilson and Randall Schilling. It was nice to visit the church where I first came to know the Lord. Everyone made us feel welcome, and it was good to see many people that we haven’t seen in a while. Also, we always enjoy hearing Uncle Leroy preach.
Next Sunday, the 21st, there will be a Deacon’s meeting at 7:30 AM, and Choir practice that afternoon at 4PM.
No Wednesday night activities next week (Nov. 24th).
The Christmas Cantata is December 5th at 6PM.

Bro. William spoke on Luke 16. We should be thankful for the blessings God gives, and should be willing to share those blessings with others. Our blessings will be multiplied, and we will find favor with God. They hope to see you all next Sunday at 10 AM.
