Silver Creek Campground is hosting a Corn Hole Tournament this Saturday, March 4th. Registration begins at 9:30 AM at the pavilion with Mr. Darren Higgs. $15 entry fee to play. Tournament starts at 10 AM. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive cash prizes!
The Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club will be hosting a 2 Man Golf Scramble the 22nd of April at the Franklinton Country Club. Mt. Hermon School
The MHS Good Samaritan Club, along with sponsor, Mrs. Jacki Grady, took time from their holiday break to volunteer at the Washington Parish Animal Shelter. They walked, bathed and spent quality time with some amazing dogs. The help of Javian, Nahla and Jett was much appreciated.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church
March will kick off the Annie Armstrong Missions Offering. Their WMU will be hosting the first annual ladies "Seasons Celebration" luncheon on March 11th.
Plans are being made for the Homecoming and 150th birthday celebration, which will be May 7th! It will be an all day event with music, food, fun, fellowship and lots of memories!
Youth activities will start again this week on Wednesday nights.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
Men's Breakfast is this Sunday, March 5th at 8 AM.
The youth group would like to thank everyone who supported them by buying a lunch after church last Sunday. They appreciate you all.
This month, for Operation Christmas Child, everyone is encouraged to bring washcloths, bars of soap and toothbrushes. No toothpaste, please.
Weather permitting, there will be a Church Work Day Saturday, March 18th. Check with Tommy Hickman about what you can do.
Sunday evening Bible study begins at 5 PM. They are studying the Tabernacle in the Old Testament.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Last Sunday night, we were blessed to hear Robby Cutrer share his personal testimony and how God is working in his life at the Hope Alive meeting. Also, several people were given chips for their accomplishments. Hope is Alive!
Our Hope Alive classes follow the Celebrate Recovery curriculum to work the 12 step program for any hurts, habits and hang-ups that you may have.
