Mt. Hermon School
The MHS Christian Club led a "See You at the Pole" rally last Wednesday morning. This is part of a global prayer movement that is student-organized and student-led. Many students participated, as well as teachers, staff and pastors from local churches. Everyone was encouraged to gather around the flag pole to pray for their school, church, family and friends. Special thanks to the MHS Christian Club for leading the way.

The District 9 (Mt. Hermon) Fire Department would like to thank everyone that bought a shrimp dinner.
Reflective 911 address signs are being made by the fire department for $20. Vertical or horizontal signs are available. Contact a member or send a Facebook message to Washington Parish Fire Department District 9 with address numbers, phone number and if you prefer a vertical or horizontal sign. This could make a difference in how fast firefighters and ambulance personnel find your home when you need them most, especially at night.
Just a reminder: the burn ban is still in effect!
October is a beautiful month with lots of activities. Let this be your best month yet!
