Hopefully you had a blessed Easter, attending the church of your choice and being with your family. Filling the pulpit on Easter Sunday morning was Bro. Robert Jones. During the Sunday School time an egg hunt was enjoyed by the children. Sunrise service was well attended at the Mile Branch Settlement on the fairgrounds.
The week of spring break (April 11th thru 18th) was a very pleasant on for me, doing things I enjoy. On Easter Sunday, I enjoyed hearing Bro. Jones’ sermon and going out to eat lunch with my son Bryan at the Grand Buffet. We had our Red Hat outing in Ponchatoula and visited with family and friends. The highlight of my week was spending the day with my granddaughter Breanna, eating lunch at Mae's Restaurant in Tylertown and later going to my granddaughter Jennifer's for a brief visit. My family and friends mean a lot to me, and I treasure every minute spent with them. What a blessing that is!
MHS students attended the recent 4-H Achievement Day held on the Washington Parish Fairgrounds. Ms. Amanda Coleman is their leader. We congratulate them for the awards and ribbons they received. We are proud of you all.
