Guess what? Time changed again Sunday - some are happy, some are not.
More about the fair! Most of you know that I was sick for the 2019 fair and didn't get to go. Then last year's fair was cancelled due to COVID-19. Let me tell you folks, I made up for it this year. I went to the fair every day except Friday and would have been there, but AT&T was coming to repair my phone. They never showed up. I was plenty aggravated about it too. They finally came Monday to fix my phone.
Sunday is my lunch time with Bryan, so we went to the fair after he picked me up from church and he got us shrimp po-boys instead of eating at home. Louis Tate was with him. We returned home early in the afternoon. I had school Monday and Tuesday before I could slow down.
The beautiful handmade quilt made by Becky Creel was won by Debra Sylvest of Folsom.
October was pastor appreciation month at Mt. Pisgah. Our devoted pastor is Rev. Scott Spinks. He was honored during the Sunday morning worship hour with cards, monetary gifts and words of appreciation.

Our time to serve water at the water booth was Thursday night. It was good having Fame Miller and girls, and Cherie Smith and children helping out. The fair goers always look forward to a cup of cool water and we serve it with a smile.
Lois Thornton fell and broke her hip a couple of weeks ago. She had surgery and is doing ok. Please pray for healing.
Have a blessed week! Take good care of yourself; you are special to lots of people, including me.
