Greetings to all of my faithful readers! With Thanksgiving behind us, Christmas is just around the corner. By the way I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving with your family. The ones I've talked with, said they "ate too much and are still eating left overs."
Our church family had a Thankgiving meal on Sunday, November 28th immediately following the morning worship. We had a beautiful meal of fried chicken, ham, turked, cornbread dressing, chicken dumplings, and accompied by several dishes. Oh yes, we can't forget those delicious desserts.
Bryan and I had a plate, plus gumbo from Michelle's in town.
The Burch's gathered at the home of Evelyn's for Thanksgiving meal. It was good to see Chris. He came over to visit with me and I made his special treat to carry home with him, (Cherry Delight).

Monday night, November 28th, I went to the basketball game. Mount Hermon seventh and eighth graders played the Pine Raiders. The first game was the seventh grade boys. Pine won 12 points to MHS with 10 points. The second game was 7th grade girls with Pine Raiders winning 37 points over Mt. Hermon with 7 points. The third game was played by eight graders. The game started off slow by at half time and it got interesting. The game was tied with 58 seconds left, The Jackets made a goal putting Mt. Hermon 25 points and Pine with 23 points. By the way the 8th grade boys earned themselves brownies, which I went to school on Tuesday to carry them.
We have several on the prayer list. Please pray for the sick, shut-ins and the breaved. Praying for each other is very important.
Thought for the week! God has deposited love, joy, prosperity, peace, laughter, plus all kinds of blessings in your ATM account. Use without limit. The pin code is "PRAYER".
I look forward to visiting with you next week. So stay tuned- same time, same stations. Take care- Nell.
