Greetings once again to all of you! We're out of school this week for our Mardi Gras break. I had plans for the week but to my surprise my body had different plans. I guess I needed more rest than I realized. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I was zapped, no energy, just dragging. I had plans to do things like go out to eat, clean the house and much more. Today, Thursday, at the time of this writing, my plans are to at least go to town. Maybe my recliner will get a rest. Who knows by the weekend I'll feel rested. By the way, we've had some beautiful days this week so far. It feels like springtime.
We recently celebrated the hundredth day of school at MHS. In the first grade, several of the students brought 100 pieces of items of their choice to share with their class like rocks, cereal erasers, etc. I treated them with chocolate cake.
For Valentine's Day many of the students wore red shirts. They enjoyed exchanging valentines and Ms. Lana's class. Several students, teachers and workers received Love Grams. It's a bag with candy that says "I love you". Hope you all had a nice Valentine's Day.

Last week I saw this lady in the grocery store. When she looked at me her words were "I know who you are." Gwen and I enjoyed a brief visit in Winn-Dixie. And talking with her brought back a lot of memories working at Rutter Rex. She remembered me working there and had worked there herself. I also learned that she had a sister, Debra Norman, whom I know from school.
It was great to see Becky Jenkins at school. As I greeted her she was congratulating me, and she wanted my autograph. Ha! Ha!
Get well wishes to my friend and classmate, Lois Tunes. She is home recovering from a broken bone.
A bridal shower was given in honor of Claire Ingram, on a recent Sunday afternoon. It was held at the Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist church fellowship hall. She received numerous nice gifts. The ladies provided a nice variety of goodies and punch. I was a hostess along with my sisters, Jackie and Laurel. Claire is our cousin.
Thought for the week! God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26.
I'll visit with you next week, same time and same station - Prayerfully Nell.
