Greetings once again! Can you believe the first day of Spring the temperature was in the low 20's. We expected an Easter snap, but Easter is not here yet. Matter of fact it is several days away. At school that day I wore layers and a heavy coat and I was still cold. I was on duty in the breeze way at 7:20 am and the wind was whipping cold. Even the students were all wrapped up. We were glad to get inside where it was warm.
Sunday, April 2nd following the morning worship we will have lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Everyone needs to bring their favorite foods and stay for a time of fellowship, and Easter Egg Hunt. Make plans to attend.

The Mt. Pisgah women on Missions gathered at the home of Frances Schilling for their March meeting. I shared thoughts about Annie Armstrong and the hHome Missions emphasis. The names of the missionaries who had a birthday that day were named. Frances voiced the prayer for the sick and the missionaries. Ladies attending were Janice Schilling, Lois Thornton, Fluorine Sorrell, Martha June Miller, the host and I. Everyone enjoyed a variety of goodies and fellowship.
Don't forget "Boots and Belles", the mother/son and daddy/daughter dance is Saturday April 1st at 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Mt. Hermon School Cafeteria.
We have several on the prayer list. Please pray for all these requests.
Thought for the week! If there was ever a day that gives us hope it is Resurrection Sunday. It's the empty tomb of Jesus that gives us hope. Hope in the here and now and hope in the here-after!
I look forward to visiting with you next week. Stay tune-same time-same station. "SMILE!"God loves you and so do I, Nell.
