Hello again everyone. I hope that all the mothers of our community had a wonderful Mother's Day this past Sunday. I totally forgot to mention it in last week's column. If I have my calculations correct, the students of our area and parish have only 9 and a half more days of school. I guess time flies when you are having fun huh? It seems just like yesterday that school had just started in August. We had the great privilege to see our first-born grandson graduate Friday night from Franklinton High School.
Happy Birthday to the following: Jacob Dykes, Lana Stuart, Baylor Graham, Doris Rogers, Sheret Luper, and Wendi Fortenberry.
Please remember the Jackie Carnegie Cutrer family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
Last week's Bible question: . . . According to the Bible (KJV) what part of the human body cannot be tamed, and is liken to a fire? The answer is the tongue and this is found in James chapter 3 verses 5 - 8. Thanks for participating.
This week's Bible question: . . . Who has the longest name found in the Bible?
Quote of the week: . . . "If you want to catch a squirrel just climb a tree and act like a nut."
Thanks to all who send me answers to the questions and different information. I know that many churches in our area will soon have VBS. Please send that to me and I will put it in the column. Send to lerandhunt@hotmail.com or text me at 985-515-6041.
Till next time, have a blessed week.
