Greetings, because of God’s Grace and Mercy
Our days in the neighborhood are beautiful and blessed. This week I greet you in the Spirit of Giving. You’ve probably heard the saying, “It’s better to give than receive.” This phrase isn’t understandable until the gift you’re giving is truly about being a blessing. When you give to someone and can appreciate the joy your gift brings then the truth of this phrase begins to make sense. It’s a joy to be able to bring happiness to others.
Matthew 6:3-4 (NLT) 3 But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. 4 Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
What’s Going On?
I said a prayer for you this week …
I prayed that you will stay strong
When times are tough.
Why Is Vernon Community a Special Place to Live? ( Part 2 )
Vernon Community is a community where everyone knows everyone and if they don’t know you they will probably know someone from your family roots. Family ties are one of Vernon’s strongest blessings. The elderly residents mostly stay inside and some of the younger ones can be seen outside socializing. The Community has several churches in the surrounding area and each one welcome anyone at any time. The community is built on love and there’s plenty of good people around. If quietness is your pleasure and country living is your dream then Vernon Community might be a place to think about.
We live in Vernon too!
Our Community members this week are Ricardo Burris, Sr. and Chitika Burris. This husband and wife team are caring and willing to help anyone in need. When you see them give them a thumbs up for being Vernon Proud.
