It was in 2018 that I picked up a copy of "The Woman in the Window" by A. J. Finn, for a long flight to the West Coast. Unable to put the recently released thriller down, I was enthralled. It was the title though that initially caught my eye. Once upon a time, I knew not a woman but a man in the window -- Mr. Varnado Fussell.
