Thank goodness for cool weather! I know that when the weather got cooler as a kid our animals, especially the calves, started jumping around feeling frisky. I can attest that the students are the same way. They are happy that it is not so hot that is for sure.
If you would like to donate items for Operation Christmas Child, we are still in need of $15 per box to ship, toys for all ages, loose leaf paper or notebooks, and coloring books. Wednesday nights the Youth will have dinner with Bible Study to follow from 5:30 pm to 7 pm. Sunday nights from 5:30 pm to 7 pm is dinner and fellowship. The $50 deposit for Camp Fuego is due this month. Contact Gracie Thigpen or Brother Chris Wheeler for more information. Children in Action are selling wrapping paper and other goodies in the month of November. See Mrs. Alice or our church Facebook page for ordering information. November 15th from 6 pm to 8 pm will be Movie Night. November 29th from 5 pm to 10 pm will be Parent’s Night Out. If you would like to submit a picture and information to be added to our Veteran’s Day presentation, please turn that in to Brother Chris by Thursday of this week. The girls and I spent the weekend in Hattiesburg with my mother-in-law to celebrate her birthday a few days early. We had a great time at The Lucky Rabbit, found an Insomnia Cookie (they have vegan and gluten free cookies as well), shopped, ate, and spent a fun time together. I hope you all have a wonderful week.
