I hope all of you Mother’s out there had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend. We spent Mother’s Day with mama at church, then lunch at Cracker Barrel, and then of course in true mother fashion I went to the grocery store and cleaned some. (haha) All of you are much appreciated and we are thankful for all you mama’s do!
Enon Baptist Church had a wonderful service Sunday and afterwards there was a flower bar so mamas could either make their own bouquet, or the husbands and kids could make one for them. Don’t forget Vacation Bible School is June 7-11, we are so excited to see all the sweet faces learning more about Jesus.
We appreciate our Nurse Jennifer McNutt for Nurse Appreciation as well and thank you to all of the parents and guardians who sent goodies and yummy treats for Teacher Appreciation week. We had a great week. Congrats to the Seniors of 2026, seeing some of my former kiddos in the walk through at school last week brought tears to my eyes.
This past week my class went on a field trip with 1st grade to the Hattiesburg Zoo. It was a great trip although it was a tad wet and chilly. We saw many different animals, got to pet a couple of them, and rode the train. We had a great time and enjoyed our time together. I highly recommend visiting their zoo, it is not huge but has plenty to see and do.
