This past weekend we had a birthday/bon voyage party for Gracie before we leave for vacation and she heads to London. Thank you all for the love, prayers, donations, etc. We appreciate all of your support. Gracie will leave for Philadelphia on June 8th and will head to London on June 9th. She will try to keep up with her travels via Facebook, email, etc and share with us along the way.
On May 31 Enon Baptist Church will have our Baby Dedication. Blessing of Food will be May 28 th and 29th. EBC will have Illumination Station Vacation Bible School June 7-11 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. May 20th is the End of School Bash; make sure you wear clothes you can get wet. The Youth are selling Nothing Bundt Cakes for their last fundraiser for Camp Fuego. Orders are due May 24th and cakes are $8 each. Delivery will be on the evening of June 1st. Please be in prayer for our Youth as they prepare for camp June 22-26.
Happy birthday to Ann Corkern, Megan Branch, Alice Pigott, Ben Mizell, Donnie Wells, Jeremy Newman, Thomas Strong, one of our fantastic 3rd grade teacher’s Krystal Jenkins, Kayla Hennick, and my daughter Gracie Thigpen for her 21st birthday.

This is our last week of school, and I have to admit I am extremely ready for summer break. I am ready for rest and relaxation and most of all vacation. I hope all of our students have an amazing summer.
EES 1st graders learned about the American flag from some amazing visitors. I believe all of our grades had fantastic field trips this year.
Three of our 4-H members competed in the regional level culinary contest, Annabelle Venable, Preston Venable, and Riley Galloway. All 3 won blue ribbons.
May 21st will be a half day and students get out at 11 am.
The Enon Library will have Teen Game Night on May 22nd from 6 pm to 8 pm for ages 12-17. The library is also doing a canned food drive at Enon and Thomas. If you have any questions about things going on at the library, you can contact them at 253-234-9534.
