The Youth of Enon Baptist Church did a fantastic job of telling from their point of view how amazing Camp Fuego was for them this summer. There were several worship songs, many testimonies of their experience, and then my brother Ron Sharp gave the message. Gracie was able to watch via Facebook Live and absolutely loves the Youth and working with them. Ron had them stand up and bragged on them and had them turn around and look at the camera to wave at Gracie. That really touched her heart and made her day for sure. (There may or may not have been some tears shed.)
I am not a soccer person but watching all the folks who came from all around the world for the World Cup, this sure has been fun watching the fans, not just the games. I was happy for England winning bronze and Gracie said that the people “went crazy” after the win, but NOT in a bad way to my knowledge. I am so happy for them and am watching the final right now. What a crazy game it has been!
Enon Baptist Church would like to thank Jack’s Tree Service for another great job at helping us take care of our grounds. We appreciate all that they have done. Family Camp is from July 23rd through 25th.

Enon Elementary School will have Meet the Teacher on August 5th for Pre-K-2nd from 8 am to 9 am, and then 3rd-6th grade from 9 am to 10 am.
First day of school for 1st through 6th grade is August 6th. First day of school for Kinder boys is August 6th, Kinder girls is August 7th and then ALL Kinder August 10th. First day of school for Pre-K boys is August 13th, Pre-K girls is August 14th, and ALL Pre-K August 17th.
Teen Night at the Enon Library was a success. If you are looking for a great place to hang out and find great books, stop by! I need to go see if they have any of the books I am looking for at the moment.
