This past weekend we took my mama out to eat at Jourdan River Steamer in Kiln, Mississippi to continue celebrating her 85th birthday. (we were finally able to celebrate Ron’s birthday from January as well) If you have never been, I highly recommend going, even if it is just once. They have steak and a variety of seafood to choose from. (My girls think it is one of the best steaks they have had, and I think the seafood is excellent) We were seated by the window and able to watch boats, jet skis and kayaks on the river. They brought her crème brulé out with a huge sparkler and it was a sight to behold!
Enon Baptist Church is donating for the Fall Food Round Up, if you would like to make a donation, please bring by Sunday September 13th or contact Brother Chris. We are also having our annual Georgia Barnette State Missions Offering as well.
On September 26th EBC will have the Annual Chili Cook-Off from 5 pm to 7 pm. There will be hot dogs, frito pie, a cake walk, etc. If you would like to donate any sweets for the cake walk, contact Mrs. Alice.
September 19th the Youth will have a bowling night, meet at the church at 2 pm.
September 12th there will be a Children’s Movie Night at 6 pm.
