Hughie Ray Alford, 88, a longtime resident of Hammond passed away Sunday afternoon November 5, 2023. He was a native of Mount Hermon and a graduate of Mt. Hermon High School. Hughie attended William Carey University, where he played on the Crusaders baseball team and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree.
