Washington Parish LIbrary will have amnesty for fines

Starting Friday, April 1, 2022, the Washington Parish Library is kicking off a six-month Fine Amnesty Pilot Program.
Through Saturday, October 1, 2022, library users will be forgiven of all previous overdue fines for library books, DVDs, CDs, and magazines.

Mt Hermon Lady Yellowjackets end successful softball season in playoffs

The Mt. Hermon Lady Yellowjackets Softball team ended their regular 2020-2021 by advancing to the District Playoffs and earning a 2nd place spot in the District Class B Softball Playoffs. Even though the Lady Jackets were defeated by Choudrant with a score of 12-2, they had a successful softball season.
