This last week District #8 Fire Department suffered a great loss. Chief James Jones passed away. Chief was a proud Vietnam veteran, who was a helicopter crewman and mechanic during the war. He was then a truck driver both locally and cross country. Chief James Jones was our fire chief since the district’s formation in 1994.
