Chanda Simmons Corkern, age 70 of Florence, AL, previously a resident of Franklinton, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at her home. Services will be held privately at her church Emmanuel Baptist at a date to be determined.
Chanda is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Reed Corkern and parents J. C. and Edna Simmons.
