Johnny Curtis “J.C.” Tarver, 81, a resident of Franklinton passed away Friday afternoon October 13, 2023 at Riverside Medical Center. He was a longtime carpenter and also operated a family dairy farm for many years. J.C. was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the City of Bogalusa for many years and also worked in gravel pits and other local areas through the years. Jewell was a member of Victory Baptist Church for over 30 years.
