Daylight Savings Time begins this comingweekend. Before going to bed Saturday night, set your clocks ahead an hour. Spring forward and enjoy more daylight in the evenings.

Congratulations to the following students for being chosen as Students of the Week: Kindergarten-Zay’Dyn Tate, 1st grade-Kaleb Milligan, 2nd grade-Riley Smith, 3rd grade-Ahryan Brown, 4th-Madison Hartfield, and 5th grade-Zoey Melancon.
Students who are in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade had the opportunity to participate in the Heart Health Poster Contest. They designed posters promoting heart health. Posters were judged on message, creativity, and overall appearance. These students were selected to advance to the parish level contest. Congratulations to Madison Hartfield (4th grade), Heavenlee Sharp (4th grade), and Arayah Garcia (5th grade).
Make plans to catch the next home baseball game on March 20th at 4:00 PM. MHS vs. Pearl River.
The upcoming home softball games are March 11th playing against Bogalusa, and March 12th playing against Pine Jr High. Both games start at 5:30 PM.
This past Friday, the Lady Jackets played amazingly well over Independence, with the Varsity team scoring 18-0, and JV scoring 11-9!
Pre-k Enrollment Round-up for Mt. Hermon School is March 18th, 8:30 AM-2:00 PM. To enter Pre-k, students must be 4 years old by September 30th.

Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
Our newest little member is Miss Tatum Elise Cutrer. She was born on February 24th, weighing 7 lbs. 3 oz. Proud parents are Kyle and Addisyn Cutrer.
Section 1 Kids Rally is this Saturday, March 7th, 2:00 PM at the church. Games, puppets, action songs, and more will be lead by Children’s Minister, Rev. Adam Franklin. Food will be served afterwards. All kids are welcome!
