Hello to all my faithful readers! It's a joy to visit with you. First of all, I hope you had a nice Easter weekend with your family.
The Annie Armstrong Easter offering will continue through April. If you haven't given your offering, it's not too late. Giving to missions is a blessing to help support our missionaries in their ministry.
It was great giving back to Red Hats. We gathered Wednesday, April 16th, and had a great lunch at Don's Seafood in Convington. Mrs. Jean Stafford was the host and did a beautiful job. Matter of fact she had everyone a treat. It was a beautiful day. I was happy to see my niece Sharon Watson visiting with her mother.
Aesha Magee and Troy Bibbins Jr. announce the birth of their baby. Airis Troi Bibbins was born on February 5, 2025, at Women's Hospital in Baton Rouge, La at 8:09 am. Weighing 6 lbs 13 ounces and is measured 20 inches. The grandparents are Alice Magee of Mt. Hermon and the late Russell Magee, and Troy Sr. and Ann Bibbins. Great grandmother is Rosa Richardson. Aesha is a graduate of MHS class of 2015.
Happy belated birthday to our Red Hat ladies who had a birthday in March. They are Benda Penny on March 6, Jean Stafford, March 28th, and Kathy McElveen on March 17th. Also, to Mrs. Hattie Brumfield on the 21st and to my friend Dianne Brock who had a birthday on March 13th. Sorry your birthday was left out, please forgive me. I love you!
I was at school Friday the 11th for Ms. April 5th grade and then on Monday and Tuesday of 2 weeks ago. We were testing for Dibels in lower grades, and Leap testing for upper grades were completed. Teachers and students are happy that testing is over. Later they will have finals.
"Fiesta Fellowship" will be held at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church on Saturday May 3rd. All ladies are invited to join us for a great meal and fun at 11 am-1 pm. We'll be looking for you. Don't disappoint us.
