Hello to all my faithful readers. Once again it is great visiting with you. It doesn't seem right to leave home for school when it's still dark. As the days go by hopefully it will get better for me.
On Wednesday night of last week the National Weather Service put out a tornado warning in our area until 9:15 pm. Pray for those who had damages and thankfully no one was seriously injured.
The new grocery store Rouses seems to be getting off to a good start. For the first few days their parking area was full. I guess everyone was there to get a good look and check out the specials. I don't know about you, but my favorite grocery store remains to be Jack Brown's. I have been to Rouses! The store looks very nice and I got three or four items that were on sale.
The third, fourth, and fifth graders at MHS recently participated in the Heart Health Poster Contest. Winners were Madison Hartfield and Heavenly Sharp both fourth graders, and Arayah Garcia in fifth grade. Congratulations to you. These students will now compete on the parish level. Best of luck to you. I saw some of the posters and they were really good.
Softball and baseball games are going on at MHS. They play after school somewhere around 4 pm or 5:30 pm, come out and support them. Sometimes both are going on at the same time.

Yesterday Tuesday, March 17th was St. Patrick's Day. People of Irish ancestry all over the world will celebrate by wearing green, singing Irish songs, and dancing Irish Jigs. Hoping you're wearing green; if not you probably were pinched, which is a fun thing for kids. Ha! Ha!
Well folks, that's all for now. I look forward to visiting with you next week. Take care, keep on smiling. It looks good on you.
Continue to pray for the sick, shut-ins, and the families who have lost beloved ones.
Prayerfully, Nell.
