Greetings once again! Well my friends and neighbors, tomorrow is the last day of April. May is here and will surely be a busy one; with graduations, and celebrations for the graduating seniors. I’ve had a busy week, I’ve been to school for three days. I subbed for third grade teachers Mrs. Sharanda Thigpen and in PreK.
A few days before Easter I had a surprise visit from friends. It was a beautiful filled Easter basket. Yes, it had a chocolate bunny in it. I haven’t gotten an Easter basket since I was a child. As the ole saying goes, “You never get too old to get an Easter basket”. Thank you, Loretta. You made my day.
Washington Baptist Senior Adult Revival was held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, April 6-8. On Monday revival was held at Enon Church, Tuesday at Clifton Church, and Hillcrest Church on Wednesday. Each day began with fellowship at 9 am, choir practice at 9:30 am with worship at 10 am. A bountiful lunch was enjoyed by those in attendance. Ms. Janice Schilling and I attended service on Tuesday at Clifton Church. Thank you to our ladies for making salads to help Clifton with lunch.
