Hello everyone! We have had some beautiful days this past week. The rain held off and believe it or not, I got my yard mowed without the rain stopping me. Before that, I only got to mow about half of it and then it would rain for days, and I never got it all mowed at once.
Louis sent me some unusual burpless cucumbers. They were light green. I’ve only seen the green ones. I made pickles. They seem to be as good as the dark green ones. These are my first ones to make this year. We love them. Thank you, Louis, for the yellow squash and cucumbers.

June is National Dairy Month. A special salute to all our dairy farmers. We are thankful for our dairy industry and to have the opportunity to enjoy all the great dairy products that play an important part of our daily diet, providing vitamins for strong bones and healthy teeth. Dairy Farmers work long, endless hours, seven days a week, rain or sunshine. Growing up on a dairy farm I had a job early in the morning before school and after school. Dairying is a family business that requires lots of hard work and dedication. By all means it is important to plan and prepare meals using dairy products for your family to enjoy

We have several on the prayer list. Please pray for Valerie and Bobby Goings, Barbara Kerbow, and Gary Stubbs of our church family. Also pray for the families who have lost beloved ones. A visit would be appreciated by the lonely, shut-ins, and elderly. Take time to check on them.
Thought for the week! Decide to do something positive today and you will mount up on wings of faith.
Signing off for now. Take good care of yourself and your family. As the weeks go by, the temperature will be hot. If you are out in the heat, drink plenty of fluids. Stay tuned, same time, same station. Keep smiling.
Prayerfully, Nell
