Can you believe this is the last week of June? Where has the time gone? We have only a few more weeks of summer vacation left. School has been out five weeks and I haven't accomplished any things around the house.
We've had lots of rain a week ago. Water was over the roads in some places.

The Washington Baptist Association Women's Mission and Ministry meeting was held at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church on Saturday morning, May 30th. A fun ice-breaker was let by Ann Forrest. The blessing was given by Emma Lee Miller. Guest speaker was Linda Hendry. Her talk was "Faith Over Free". Everyone enjoyed her devotion very much. Birthdays were recognized and the announcements were given.
There were fifty-nine in attendance with seventeen churches represented. The banner was taken home by the Bogue Chitto Ladies with sixteen attending. Everyone enjoyed a salad luncheon and a variety of deserts. As usual, our director Ivy Kennedy did a great job. Attending the meeting from Mt. Pisgah were Fame Miller, Cherie Smith with daughter Ragean and I.
The April meeting was hosted by the Clifton Baptist Ladies. Frances and I went. Everyone had a nice time.
