Hello to all my wonderful and faithful readers. As I visit with you today, I pray you are feeling good and relaxing in your favorite chair.
School bells ring again! Teachers and students reported to school last week and school is in full swing. It's back to the books and learning. There will be some new faces on our campus. May we welcome them to our school.
Bryan and I are still enjoying the wonderful veggies. I got some okra from Jason Miller. It was really good. By the way, he has okra for sale - Give him a call.
I never did share with you about our Ladies Retreat held at Hunt Branch Lakes Christian Retreat Center in Enon,. "Be Still" was the theme. The Friday night and Saturday sessions were enjoyed by all. Everyone received a welcome bag with note pad, pen and a pink T-Shirt with the inscription "Be Still" and scripture. The ladies looked good wearing matching shirts.
Several watched the movie "The Forge" and enjoyed popcorn, while others retired for the night. I went and had a fabulous time spiritual and fun. Approximately 50 were in attendance. It's a beautiful place inside and outside. During free time we relaxed outside near the lake.
Thanks to our Director Ivy Kennedy and her helper Shandra for making the weekend special.
LAUGH OUT LOUD!
What are you going to do on your day off? Answer - Well, I think I'll take a nap and then I'll turn over and get some sleep. Ha! Ha!

Continue to pray for the many needs around us. Look around, there are people hurting. Lonely shut-ins that need a helping hand and encouraging words. Whatever the need, the Lord can take care of it. There is nothing too big or too small for Him, our heavenly Father. Reach out in love. You will be truly blessed beyond measure.
Thought for the week!
Life is like a puzzle. Everything that happens to us is part of our search for the right choices that will lead us to completeness in Jesus!
Signing off for now. Take care of yourself and family. I'll visit with you next week. Same time! Same Station! Try to keep cool.
Prayerfully Nell.
