At the May meeting of the Washington Parish Fair Committee Chairmen, Washington Parish Tourism Director Patty Alford presented two $5,000 checks to the Fair. One is to be used for the playground area and much needed upgrades while the other is for the Fair Association to use where it may be most needed.
